More features…

Too busy coding to get to the blog very often, but thought I would drop by to make a few comments.

Since last time on the blog we’ve published version 1.9 which has more new features including a Tip of the Day function, which draws attention to features users may not be aware of and helps the pilot get the most from the program. There are also new aircraft and a direct link within the program to the Video Tutorials.

We’ve also published a Quick Start Guide in German to help German speakers get up and flying with FSFS – FSFS is popular in Germany and Austria despite being in a foreign language.

We continue to add features to FSFS with a major new release coming up this year. I’m not supposed to say much, but can hint at extra features in the area of the correct use of aircraft lights, engine management and instructors who can tell you a lot more about the trouble you are about to get into before you get into it.

We received a very kind review from Computer Pilot Magazine, which now means that we’ve been recommended by Computer Pilot Magazine, PC Pilot Magazine and AVSIM.com.

We were also used by flight training technology leaders Elite Simulation Solutions with their hardware at the Sun ‘n Fun event at the Florida Air Museum. In the words of Elite’s Chief Information Officer Calvin Fraites:
“…guess what - the crowd loves your product.”

Back to coding…
